In the 23rd century, Korben Dallas, a New York City cabbie, finds the fate of the world in his hands when Leeloo falls into his cab. As the embodiment of the fifth element, Leeloo has the power to keep an approaching Evil Galactic Force from destroying the Earth. Together with a zany group of unlikely hero's, Dallas and Leeloo must stay ahead of ruthless mercenaries and an evil industrialist, in a race against time to save humanity.
