Death shows up at a hospital, prepared to guide a soul to the afterlife after a terrible automobile accident nearly takes the life of the driver. However, death has been thwarted by the fact that the patient continues to survive and refuses to die. Frustrated by this prospect and feeling cheated, a supernatural battle ensues between Death and the doctor who refuse to allow the man to die, and for Death, time is running out.
