An Archeologist hires a professional team of cave divers to explore ancient Mayan ruins long buried underwater, in the hope that they can discover how and why the Mayan civilization disappeared. But the team unintentionally stumbles upon an ancient evil alien presence that has been imprisoned there for thousands of years. Now they must escape and prevent an extraterrestrial apocalypse that was predicted by the Mayans long ago.
