An animated musical comedy version of the epic Indian tale of Ramayana set to the 1920s jazz vocals of Annette Hanshaw, Hindu goddess Sita accompanies her husband Rama to live in exile. In the treacherous woods, a demon king abducts her after hearing about her beauty, but Rama remains devoted and will stop at nothing to save her from her abductees. With her deep faith and belief in the one she loves, she waits for Rama to rescue her. Told with great artistry, this animated feature film is a wonder to behold.
